This floor access door is perfect for either interior or exterior applications because it comes with an aluminum door and frame with stainless steel hinges with tamperproof stainless steel bolts and nuts. Its 1/4" aluminum diamond plate door meets the AASHTO specification H 20-44 for traffic loading (16000 lb. wheel load over 10" x 20" area with 30% added for impact).
This floor access door has easy open access because of its automatic hold open arm with a red vinyl grip that allows the door panel to open to 90 degrees, locking the door in an open position for swift control when closing the door panel.

In addition, the stainless-steel compression springs also provide lift assistance. It has electrical actuators, operated by a wall mounted push button switch and remote control.
