The DW-5058-TD's intended design is for installation in a 5/8" cement board where you need access but still want to retain the aesthetics. It uses aluminum as its primary material. The door frame has a 6063-T6 aluminum extrusion recessed that makes the edge like the drywall bead, allowing for wall or ceiling surface finishing.
It has a winge hinge that enables you to remove the door panel from the frame and also makes it open up to 90 degrees. It has safety chains to protect you or your personnel using the access panel. This feature makes it safe for use in most settings.
To prevent particles from compromising the components inside your access panel, the DW-5058-TD has a dust gasket that seals it. It comes with a standard concealed touch latch with other options such as Slotted Screwdriver Cam Latch, Allen head cam latch, spanner head cam latch, cylinder lock & key available. Lastly, it has a Mill finish.
