The HDSS-6020 duct door has a simple design that's easy for any contractor or technician to install on their own. You'll notice that manufacturers used a 24 gauge galvanized double panel steel on the door panel and a 24 gauge galvanized steel on the frame. The materials used for the duct door ensure durability and security.
You can find a 1/8" thick by 1/2" wide closed cell neoprene gasket between the door and the frame. You also have a 1/8" thick by 11/2" wide adhesive bonded gasket between the frame and the duct.
Finally, this duct access door comes standard with self-tightening, hand-operated cam latches. You can find other locking options, including a Cylinder Lock & Key, a Hasp + Staple, and an L Handle.
